Brenda –
Brenda has been given the gift of charm in abundance—an important quality for an appointment secretary. She is excited about what she does and is a real “people lover”. Brenda has the honor of being the first member of our team to meet and greet our new and returning patients. Brenda is an invaluable team member who is always prepared to coordinate appointments and help with any questions regarding policies and procedures. With her warm smile, she makes sure that upon arrival and departure, our patients are well cared for.
Carol –
Carol is our team’s Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). She is a 30+ year veteran of the hygiene profession and received her training at the University of Hawaii. Carol is Dr. Adams’ only full time hygienist, allowing her the opportunity to provide excellent continuity of care. Over the years Carol has “saved” many teeth from extraction. Because of her gentle touch, patients continue to return for their routine and periodontal maintenance cleanings. We are aware, the mouth is one of the most sensitive parts of the human body. Great skill is required to comfortably provide these services to the teeth and gums. We are fortunate to have a team member who has the training, experience and gentle skills to provide these services.
Fatima –
Fatima is Dr. Adams’ “right arm”. Fatima achieved this status by completing a fully credentialed educational program at Sacramento City College, where upon completion, she received her certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Fatima has acquired the training and developed the excellent clinical skills necessary to assist Dr. Adams in providing our patients with comprehensive care. Best of all, complex restorative procedures and a large number of other complete care procedures.
Deanie –
Deanie is our treatment plan and office administrator. Over the years, she has developed the expertise to efficiently manage the everyday needs of our patients and staff, in order to maximize the benefits of our patients with insurance. Deanie has the ongoing task of being the patient advocate. She has learned to speak the “insurance lingo” and can help interpret your insurance benefits. Her most important duty includes helping our patients with complex cases, so they may understand the sequences of treatment and arrange appointments that coordinate with their busy lives. Deanie ensures the success of our ultimate goal—providing our patients the dental services they need with efficiency and comfort.
Kristen –
Kristen is our team’s part-time assistant. Her duties include “any and all busy work” that needs to be done. Her primary focus in life at the present time is school. At the ripe old age of 14, she completed the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) examination including x-ray certification and coronal polish licensing. At age 18 she completed the requirements for an Extended Functions (RDAEF) license. She is probably the youngest RDA/RDAEF in California. Kristen is currently completing the application process and someday hopes to be admitted to dental school. What a better place to learn what it is all about. Go Kristen!!!
